TNM Super League defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets troubles continue after they were beaten by Kamuzu Barracks 1-0 at Civo Stadium on Saturday.
Harvey Nkacha was the scorer of the goal that confirmed Bullets’ disastrous season as the team was held to a one all draw with Wizards FC during the week.
Bullets players have been absconding training almost the whole week as the club’s vocal and ever-angry supporters demanded an immediate removal of the team’s chairperson, Sam Chilunga for failing to take care of players’ welfare.
The club owes players K45 million signing-on fees and K7.8 million in salaries and bonuses.
Executive committee is being accused of failing to properly manage the club’s finances despite team being under a lucrative K500 million five-year deal with Nyasa Manufacturing Company Limited.
Bullets will face Civio United today in another league game at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
In another league game played on Saturday, Epac FC beat Wizards FC 1-0. Anthony Banda scored the lone goal for Epac FC, widely known as ‘Njenjete zaku Lilongwe’.
