Malawi’s Super League defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets have hinted that they are eyeing their return to participate in the continental Confederation of African Football (Caf) club competition.
The Bullets last participated in the competition last year where they were left with huge debts since they participated without official sponsor and were relying on handouts.
Bullets Acting General Secretary Kelvin Moyo said their new sponsors Nyasa Manufacturing Limited are willing to provide the team with all the needed resources only if they return the league.
“They are willing to invest resources so that we participate in the competition but we have to exercise caution on how we manage the sponsorship” said Moyo.
Bullets signed a five year contract with Nyasa Company to the tune K500 million.
They are entitled to use K100 million every year.
