Mzuzu United Set For Simama League

Newly formed club in the north Mzuzu United are much ready for the Malawi’s northern region top league, according to coach Lucky Mawuluka.

Mawuluka said this on Thursday after a friendly match against Police youth where United won by 3 – 1.

 

The newly registered team in the Simama League were a side to watch with their skillful talented players like their team captain Kondwani Kayamba, Majid Msowoya, Mobra Phiri, Junior Bauleni and Andy Nkhambule.

 “We are ready for the league and with this young players hope we will achieve our goal since we want to start football from grassroots level”

“As you can see most of our players are still young and with this talent when they are growing we will be a better side in the near future” said Mawuluka.

Mzuzu united will play their final friendly match on Sunday against Ekwendeni at Mzuzu stadium, it will be a curtain laser of the match between Karonga United and Mighty Beforward Wanderers.

Jonathan Damaseko team manager said they will come with final squad by next week. Northern region league of Simama  is expecting to start this weekend with few fixtures.
