Mzuzu Stadium Ball Boys Accused of Helping Teams With Juju

Balls boys at Mzuzu Stadium have been accused of helping some of TNM Super League teams using charm (juju) during games.

The ball boys, according to reports, are used by the team to facilitate the usage of the juju during games with latest incident being a game between Karonga United and Epac FC on last weekend.

During the said game which Epac won 1-0, it is reported that the team’s goalkeeper Tione Tembo instructed one of the ball boys to hold a bottle which Karonga United supporters believed it contained charm.

The ball boys are alleged to be paid a minimum of K1,500 each if they help the said teams to use juju, claims dismissed by their leader Raphael Mtegha.

Mtegha said his contingent of ball boys is well trained to sink so low and help teams with juju.
