Mtawali drops Kayira, Ng’ambi From Flames Squad List

Flames coach Ernest Mtawali has dropped midfielders Chimango Kayira and Robert Ng’ambi from the list of players going into camp in readiness for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) match against Zimbabwe and the COSAFA Tournament next month.

On Thursday, Mtawali released a provisional squad list which is expected to start camp training on Sunday 22nd May 2016 at Mpira Village.

However, Ng’ambi who once had sour relationship with Mtawali has been dropped out of the list, and no explanation has been given by the team’s mentor.

The Flames are expected to play against the Zebras of Botswana on 29th May 2016 in Francistown in an international friendly match.

Mighty BeForward Wanderers FC have dominated the call-up list, providing six players two more than other TNM Super League top clubs. The club’s new acquisition Jafali Chande has made the list.
