The match offered the Flames coaching panel an opportunity to try combinations and systems before facing Zimbabwe in a crucial Group L qualifier Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) encounter to be played on Sunday, 5th June 2016 in Harare, Zimbabwe.

With two points from five games, the Flames hope to salvage something in Zimbabwe. The Warriors lead the standings with eight points from five games.

Flames are boosted by the presence of foreign-based players in the likes of former team’s captain, Joseph Kamwendo, Gerald Phiri Jnr, Micium Mhone, Harry Nyirenda and Frank Gabadinho Mhango.

Goalkeeper Charles Swini and midfielder John Banda also from Mozambique are expected to join camp.

On the same day, Swaziland host Guinea. Only group leaders will qualify for the 2017 Afcon finals in 2017 in Gabon.
