Member of Parliament (MP) for Mulanje South Bon Kalindo has thrown jabs at former advisor on communication and strategy to President Peter Mutharika, Bright Malopa for calling his ‘naked demonstrations’ move as dull.
Malopa also labeled the DPP legislator not conversant with his own laws.
Kalindo known for his acting name ‘Winiko’ and Malopa have engaged in social media battle with Malopa claiming Kalindo’s stance on pushing for death sentence on albino killers is sheer act of ignorance.
However, the controversial Parliamentarian trashed the former Malawi Broadcasting Corporation Director General’s sentiments, arguing he is a lawmaker with an oversight role to make laws that would favor poor Malawians.
“You must also know this fight is for all Albinos and us, poor Malawians, those that are being killed like chickens when you are comfortably in your mansions guarded by police! It’s a known fact that death penalty is in our laws and that this law is not being used simply because of human rights issues and yet our people are being killed every day hence protecting the rights of all Albino killers and not the victims,” wrote Kalindo.
Kalindo further went with the attack, suggesting Malopa might be one of ‘albino killers’ who is afraid to be caught by the long arm of law.
“Should l say you are one of the Albino killers and that may be you are afraid you might get killed once this law has come to pass?” wondered Kalindo.
He went on: “Do not start making silly arguments on this sensitive issue that requires group areas act and collective efforts to deal with this war on innocent people.”
