Judiciary Warns Govt On Inherited MEC’s Toxic Debt

The Judiciary has warned Malawi government to cover debt for Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) amounting to K90 million or in failure, its impounded six vehicles will be put back on auction.

MEC’s six vehicles were about to be put on an auction last Friday but the Attorney General canceled the sale, urging government to cover the debt.
