“Wandale out of direction”,-Law experts

Law experts say Mr. Vincent Wandale sentiments that he would report a land case in which he has been convicted to the international criminal court (ICC) have no merit as the court does not hear such cases.

Explaining in an interview Edge Kanyongolo a law lecture at Chancellor College advised the convict to simply appeal against the ruling through local court saying going to ICC is losing direction while another expert Mr. Justin Dzonzi said Wandale is lacking proper understanding of law.

“The ICC only deals with war crimes and crimes against humanity so I’m not sure that in this case they have sufficient facts to proof of war crime or crimes against humanity i would therefore suggest for him to go and appeal to the court above the court which convicted him within the local domestic judiciaries”, explained Kanyongolo.
