Mzuni students to carry demonstrations,ask Mutharika to act fast on the Mzuni workers strike

Mzuzu university students says they will carry peaceful demonstrations as one way of forcing the president of the country Peter Muntharika  who is also the chancellor of the institution to intervene in solving problems which the institution is currently facing.

Speaking to Malawi Punch the President of the student’s school union Kwazamazama Katatu said the students have decided to carry the demonstrations because if they keep calm on the issue nothing will happen according to the closure of the school.

Mzuzu University was tragedy closed due to the striking of its workers.

“At first we are explaining to the president of this country who is the chancellor of this school to stop being silent on the Mzuni closure issue, he has to intervene and hear complains of Mzuni workers who were on strike so that the strike should not disturb our education”, said Katatu.
