Authorities have temporarily closed the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) due to the water predicaments at the campus.
A statement ordered all students to live the campus by 4 pm on Monday.
The institution has been locked by water problems ever since it was opened, earlier in the morning the police filed an attempt by students to hold the protest over the water situation.
Meanwhile an ongoing industrial by Mzuzu academic staff at the Mzuzu University over salary increment has forced the institution to postpone its 18th graduation which was slated for November 4th.
Over 800 students were expected to graduate with certificates, diplomas and degrees in various fields of study.
The university registrar has since advised all students to live the campus by 5 pm today.
