Malawi Flames coach Ernest Mtawali has today released the traveling squad to face Zimbabwe in a crucial encounter in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON qualifiers).
Mtawali has left out injured team captain Limbikani Mzava and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers midfielder Isaac ‘Chair’ Kaliati who was optimistic of recovering and play against Zimbabwe’s warriors.
Flames face Zimbabwe’s warriors in the Group L qualifier of the 2017 AFCON in Harare this weekend.
With two points from five games, the Flames hope to salvage something in Zimbabwe. The Warriors lead the standings with eight points from five games.
The team leaves for Harare, Zimbabwe on Friday, 3rd June 2016.
The members are as follows:
Goalkeepers: Charles Swini and Ernest Kakhobwe.
