As Malawi will from December 19 this year have a K2000 bank note, it has come to sense that the local currency is one of the weakest currencies in Africa region.

It has been established by this site that Malawian Kwacha is far behind with a South African Rand which in previous years an exchange rate with it was not that bad.

In this new development, Malawians are eased on carrying huge loads of money when flying to markets.

The new introduced note, according to the Reserve Bank of Malawi, the front will have fallen hero John Chilembwe’s face and the other side the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST).

Malawi last had alterations on its banks notes in 2012.

Will Malawi avoid the footsteps of Zibwambwe which abandoned her local currency due to evaluation against other successful currencies?
