Comedian John Nyanga alias Izeki has died after being re-admitted to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre months after he was discharged.
The last time Izeki was admitted to the hospital was in June and discharged in August last year.
In an earlier exclusive interview with The Nation Izeki said he had been in and out of the hospital because of Mangitis and Tuberclosis.
Now its confirmed that Izeki has died.
According to the deceased acting partner Eric Mabedi, aka Jakobo, Izeki was anemic and he was put on drip.
His death confirms rumors that have been circulating on the social network that the comedian had died.
Izeki was one of the country’s long-standing comedians who had been entertaining people for many years.
He performed alongside Kwathu Drama Group over 30 years before concentrating on his ministry called Synagogue For Hope Church at his Ndirande residence where he has been known as Prophet Zeks.
