The family of comedian John Nyanga alias Izeki, who died on Sunday, has released a burial arrangements for the departed king of local comedy with the public to be accorded opportunity to view the body on Tuesday.
According to the released programme, there will be funeral mass at BAT ground in Blantyre on Tuesday where Nyaga’s bereaving fans will be given an opportunity to pay their last respect to the departed hero of stand-up comedy.
Burial is expected to take place at HHI Cemetery.
Izeki died on Sunday morning after succumbing Mangitis and Tuberculosis. He was re-admitted to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre months after he was discharged.
According to the deceased acting partner Eric Mabedi, aka Jakobo, Izeki was anemic and he was put on drip.
Izeki was one of the country’s long-standing comedians who had been entertaining people for many years.
He performed alongside Kwathu Drama Group over 30 years before concentrating on his ministry called Synagogue For Hope Church at his Ndirande residence where he has been known as Prophet Zeks.

2:00PM- Body to be taken from College Of Medicine to Late Nyanga’s home.
Tuesday 24th May, 2016
7:30am- Body taken to BAT Ground from Home.
9:00am-Funeral mass and Body Viewing.
12:00 noon- Body taken from BAT to HHI Cemetery for Burial.
