The country’s reggae outfit The Black Missionaries has teamed up with the acoustic duo, Edgar and Davis in a farewell for Malawian legendary local musician Giddes Chalamanda who is expected to tour United States of America.
On Friday night 24th June, all roads will lead to Robins Park where fun seekers and Giddes Chalamanda supporters will party and dance to music by Dan Lu, mablacks and Edgar and Davis.
Chalamanda is expected to leave for America next week in a company of Edgar and Davis as well as gospel singer, Patience Namadingo.
The octogenarian of the Buffalo soldier and Line songs fame will realize his dream courtesy of his managers Edger Kachere and Davis Njobvu who have facilitated the Chiradzulu born and bred musician to visit United States.
Njobvu disclosed that Chalamanda aged 84 would perform in US.
