A renowned Malawian gospel rapper Gift Chilongo famously known as Atsogo Scrafoc who is based in South Africa has released his first album titled ‘Do Something’.
Atsogo who previously dropped a music video ‘Taking Me Higher’- a song which also features in his debut album- said the album is full of salvation and transformation.
Speaking to Malawi Punch, the 22-year-old Damelin College student who is also known as Mr. Do Something, said it took him a good time to bake the crystal album which is composed of 10 songs.
“The album has taken me three years and it carries a Christian message with a combination of genres of like Afro pop, Dance, Kwaito, Reggae and it has been recorded and produced by Malawian producers; Ralph Ching’amba of Ralph Records and DJ Megi of Jammc Records both based here in South Africa,” said Atsogo.
Atsogo started rapping way back in High school, and he believes the album will take listeners to different dimensions and promises his fans more fireworks to follow.
Some of the songs in ‘Do Something’ album have already started enjoying airplays on local radio stations and the album is ready for download on Music from Malawi and other music downloading sites.
