Malawi will host China-Malawi Investment Forum on 21st June, 2016.
The forum follows President Peter Mutharika’s request last year for Chinese government to invest in Malawi.
The director of Investment and Promotion at Malawi Investment and Trade Centre Joshua Nthakomwa said the forum, among other things, will provide a platform for business communities to share ideas on investment.
Nthakomwa has since appealed to private sector utilize the forum.
“The Malawi China investment forum as we have coined will be held on 21st June and we expect about 85 private sector promoters from China,” Said Nthakomwa.
“Malawi should expect the best, there is three clusters, education, agriculture and industry, we are expecting Malawi private sectors at least 150 in those clusters to interact with Chinese delegation”.
